چکیده
Manufacturing systems are socio-technical systems, with explicit interactions between humans and technologies in shared workspaces. These workspaces could also be called hybrid collaborative manufacturing which involve workers as well technological equipment combine the benefits of human new Industry 4.0 technologies, such particularly useful a context requiring flexibility adaptability. Furthermore, 5.0 approach has objective to shift toward more human-centric resilient systems. The key problems solve design combinatorial assembly line balancing problem selection problem. An efficient sustainable requires cost-effective choice while improving ergonomics safety workers. Both decisions workload assignment impact system present conflicting criteria. To this end, we propose multi-objective approach, objectives optimisation investment costs fatigue recovery criterion. We linearise formulate Mixed Integer Linear Programming formulation. developed an exact solving algorithm based on ϵ-constraint obtain trade-off these objectives. conducted numerical experiments different instances from literature promising results for up 45 operations. Finally, discuss insightful managerial conclusions future research perspectives.

A Multi-Objective Mixed-Model Assembly Line Sequencing Problem With Stochastic Operation Time
In today’s competitive market, those producers who can quickly adapt themselves todiverse demands of customers are successful. Therefore, in order to satisfy these demands of market, Mixed-model assembly line (MMAL) has an increasing growth in industry. A mixed-model assembly line (MMAL) is a type of production line in which varieties of products with common base characteristics are assembled o...
متن کاملAssembly line balancing problem with skilled and unskilled workers: The advantages of considering multi-manned workstations
This paper address a special class of generalized assembly line balancing in which it is assumed that there are two groups of workers: skilled and unskilled ones. The skilled workers are hired permanently while the unskilled ones can be hired temporarily in order to meet the seasonal demands. It is also assumed that more than one worker may be assigned to each workstation. To show the adv...
متن کاملSolving a multi-objective mixed-model assembly line balancing and sequencing problem
This research addresses the mixed-model assembly line (MMAL) by considering various constraints. In MMALs, several types of products which their similarity is so high are made on an assembly line. As a consequence, it is possible to assemble and make several types of products simultaneously without spending any additional time. The proposed multi-objective model considers the balancing and sequ...
متن کاملFuzzy multi-objective assembly line balancing problem: Fuzzy mathematical programming approach
Design of assembly line is done in order to more coordinate a collection of some consecutive work stations for the aim of obtaining more productivity from the work stations and workers. The stations are arranged in a way to have a continuous and constant material flow. In this paper a multi-objective formulation for assembly line balancing is introduced. As a solution approach a two-step approa...
متن کاملEvolutionary Design and Multi–objective Optimisation
In this paper we explore established methods for optimising multi-objective functions whilst addressing the problem of preliminary design. Methods from the literature are investigated and new ones introduced. All methods are evaluated within a collaborative project for whole system airframe design and the basic problems and difficulties of preliminary design methodology are discussed (Cvetković...
